"Works from this ongoing series, begun in 2010, combine material experimentation, drawing and color with my love of casting. Each piece is a unique cast "drawing" made of pigmented rubber poured into a shallow mold. The resulting image, which is somewhat spontaneous and unpredictable, is a function of the viscosity of the liquid rubber as it is being poured, its particular curing properties and the way in which the material is handled (adding air bubbles or texture, manipulating transparency, etc.)." -Susan Byrnes
Opening Reception: Friday, June 1st 5:00-9:00 pm
Wine & light bites.
